웨스틴 조선 서울호텔
Check-in/Check-out: 14:00~12:00
Location: 106 Sogong-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul
Executive King Room (including lounge access): Around 500,000 KRW
The Westin Chosun Seoul is a hotel located in Myeongdong,
Seoul, boasting a long history and tradition.
With nearly 100 years of legacy, the hotel has undergone several renovations,
now offering a sleek and luxurious atmosphere.
Although the parking lot is somewhat limited in size,
it was more than adequate for guests,
and the attendants provided kind and efficient guidance.
We stayed in the Executive King Room, which includes lounge access.
Compared to the standard Deluxe Room,
it was more spacious and provided a more comfortable stay.
The king-sized bed offered plenty of space for a relaxing sleep,
and the soft lighting added to the cozy ambiance.
The carpeted floor gave the room a warm and welcoming feel,
perfect for a restful retreat.
The bathroom, given the hotel\u2019s long history, felt slightly dated. However,
it has been renovated to maintain a clean and luxurious appearance.
Amenities were well-stocked, excluding toothpaste and toothbrushes.
If anything was missing, the staff promptly provided it upon request.
The view from the room overlooking Myeongdong was stunning.
Since the hotel is located right next to Myeongdong,
it’s the perfect spot for enjoying shopping and local food conveniently.
As a 5-star luxury hotel, it does come with a higher price tag,
but considering its prime location and exceptional quality,
I found it to be a great value for a luxurious staycation in Seoul.
When staying at The Westin Chosun Seoul,
all guests can enjoy complimentary access to the swimming pool.
The indoor pool features four lanes,
providing ample space for swimming without feeling crowded.
The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy a peaceful swim.
Given the hotel’s 5-star status and higher price range,
the pool wasn’t very busy,
which added to the comfortable and serene experience for guests.
We also ordered room service, one of the true highlights of staying at a hotel.
We tried the omelet rice, seafood ramen, and handmade hamburger,
with the total cost coming to approximately 105,000 KRW.
The omelet rice was absolutely delicious and comes highly recommended.
The ramen was decent but not particularly outstanding for the price,
and the hamburger had the taste of a typical handmade burger.
If you’re looking for exceptional dining experiences,
I highly recommend visiting the hotel’s restaurants,
Hong Yuan or Aria. (I regret not being able to visit Hong Yuan this time!)
This concludes my review of my stay at The Westin Chosun Seoul.
